While struggling with anxiety and depression for years and attempting to get much-needed relief, physicians encouraged me to take antidepressants. However, I've never been a fan of over-the-counter medications and didn't like the idea of taking a potentially habit-forming pill to alter my mood.

After taking traditional medication for over ten years, I began researching medicinal herbs and their effects on the human body. Besides completing studies of my own in health sciences and biomedical engineering, my labmate's mother also provided me with a world of knowledge on ayurvedic medicine. She taught me how to use herbal remedies used for relaxation and balance. So, I used my newfound knowledge to develop calm-inducing herbal blends.

It all started with boiling the herbal mixtures and preparing a homemade concoction known as peace tea but has since transformed into easy-to-use herbal tinctures. It's because of these herbal remedies that I'm no longer taking traditional anxiety medication.
